Two months...
...since I last posted here. With the onslaught of facebook, my time has been taken up elsewhere. Anyhoo, just to let the few of you who read this blog know that I finally have a date for my surgery - June 18th. I'd appreciate your prayers for my family and for peace of mind over the next two weeks. Thanks. Oh, and I'll try and to get to posting some more.

have you decided what type of surgery you will have? Are you going for the replacement valve or the patch up job?

I'm going with replacement. If I got a patch job, they'd have to do it again in 10-15 years, and the replacement will last the rest of my life, provided I don't live to 140 years or something.

Ranting aside, I hope your surgery went well, I was praying for you that day.
