An Official Invitation...

This coming Sunday, March 20, I am being ordained as a minister in the Free Methodist Church of Canada. Ironically, it will also be my last day on staff at Lakeview Church. It starts at 3pm at Lakeview Church. If you are in the Saskatoon area and would like to come, please do. If you cannot be there, I would appreciate your prayers, as I anticipate that it will be a day of mixed emotions.

Here in the secular world we tend to keep qualified people around longer. It tends to help with profitability, customer service, ect.

Sorry to hear that you were "restructured" while being ordained. That is peculiar, but welcome to the church in North America. I was restructured by a church 5 years ago and am now happily pastoring 120 employees for a public school division. Strange place to be a pastor you say? Not really, God's calling on my life will be fulfilled no matter where I work. Cheers.

Darren, it has been a few days now, since your ordination. Our prayers are still with you, but I also wanted to congratulate you on your new position.

How is it going?
